OneHome
The OneHome Platform
A product from CoreLogic, the OneHome platform, replaced a product formerly known as “Matrix Frontend”. Before the OneHome release, “Matrix Frontend” was last updated in the 90s.
The original website served to bridge realtors with home buyers, providing services such as viewing and favoriting properties. OneHome took it a step further, catering experiences for property searches, providing insights into neighborhoods, and offering an intuitive guide of house purchasing progress.
As a server-side developer, I contributed in breaking down their monolith services into microservices, introducing stronger authentication, and more unit testing. One of the more challenging pieces I worked on was a complete restructuring of how the MLS data was persisted. Some of the technologies our team relied on were Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Redis.
